We are currently experiencing an interruption affecting inbound calls from AT&T mobile and landline users, preventing them from reaching John Muir Health. Calls from all other providers are functioning as expected. AT&T users can disable WiFi calling as a workaround to reach JMH until service is restored.

Nurse Advice

We understand that sometimes you want medical advice before determining whether to schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor. Patients of our primary care doctors and pediatricians who are part of John Muir Medical Group can speak with an Advice Nurse by calling their primary care provider’s office.

If your primary care doctor is affiliated with John Muir Health but not part of John Muir Medical Group, please contact your doctor to ask whether they have nurse advice available.

Please remember that our Advice Nurses are available to discuss symptoms or medical advice questions. Please speak with a member of your doctor’s office staff for non-medical questions such as questions about forms, referrals, directions, etc..
