Jeremy Fish, MD

A residency educational leader for over two decades, Dr. Fish came to John Muir Health after a decade of serving as the Program Director of the Contra Costa Family Medicine Residency Program. He also previously worked with the California Association of Family Physicians (CAFP) to create the California Residency Network, which consists of more than 50 residency programs statewide.

Kishore Nath, MD

Family Medicine Residency Program
Joining the residency in 2016 as our first Core Faculty member, Dr. Nath has been working as a Family Medicine physician in private practice since 2001. During this time, he has served as a preceptor for students from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine (his alma mater), as well as for residents in the Long Beach Memorial Family Medicine Program, where he served as Chief Resident. His current preceptor list includes students from the University of California San Francisco, and the University of California Berkeley - UCSF Joint Medical Program. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Faculty Development Fellowship.
As the Medical Director of John Muir Health's free mobile health clinic since 2010, Dr. Nath has a passion for providing care to the vulnerable and underserved. Born and raised in Southern California, he remains devoted to teaching his children to cheer for his childhood favorite teams in Southern California.

Ravi Kullar, MD

Dr. Kullar became the residency program’s second Core Faculty member in 2016. She is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and attended the University of California, Davis for medical school. There, she was a recipient of the Regents Scholarship and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society. After graduating, she began residency in Family Medicine at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, graduating in 2008. She is also a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Faculty Development Fellowship. Prior to joining John Muir Health, Dr. Kullar was a faculty member at the Kaiser Permanente Napa-Solano Family Medicine Residency. One of her major areas of interest is teaching residents efficiency skills for their practice. Her other major interest is in outpatient women's health, including women's health procedures.

Lisa Quinones, MD

Dr. Quinones has been training residents in both clinic and hospital settings since 2008, but was trying out medical education and loving it since her second year in medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her family medicine residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, and stayed for 9 years afterward to pursue resident training and primary care. Her passions are global health, teaching, and vulnerable population health.

Elizabeth Iten, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Iten grew up in Guatemala and moved to California after high school to pursue higher education. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish from Santa Clara University. She earned her Master’s and Medical degree through the UCB-UCSF Joint Medical Program, followed by residency at Kaiser Napa-Solano. She is board certified in Family Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Community Medicine & Global Health at Kaiser Napa-Solano in 2018. Her passions are community engagement and social justice, diversity in the health field, and medical education. In her spare time, Dr. Iten enjoys spending time with family, catching up on movies/tv, and being outdoors.
Jessica Clima, MD

Dr. Clima has worked at John Muir Health as a hospitalist since 2014. She completed her residency training and chief resident year at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She joined the John Muir Health residency team in 2016 as the Inpatient Clinical Director. She is interested in training future family medicine physicians in acute care conditions with an emphasis on transitions of care.

Jay Hariharan, MD

Dr. Hariharan is a family physician, who is fellowship trained in Primary Care Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine. After residency in Family Medicine, he completed fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of Washington/ Providence Sacred Heart program. He has taken care of high school, college and professional athletes in the outpatient and sideline settings. Dr. Hariharan has special interest and skills in the prevention and management of musculoskeletal problems and sports related injuries. He is thrilled to be a part of the residency program, training future family physicians in Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine, and providing quality care to the community.

Dr. Eric Ottey is originally from San Diego, CA and spent a majority of his life in Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from UC Riverside. He then went on to study medicine at UCLA and Charles R. Drew University through the UCLA PRIME Program. During that time, he also studied Health Policy, earning a Master's Degree in Public Policy. He completed his Family Medicine residency here at our John Muir Family Medicine Residency Program. He is board certified in Family Medicine. He is passionate about bringing care to our diverse patient population, engaging our community, and lifting up future leaders through education and community outreach. Outside of medicine he enjoys cooking, watching movies, and hiking outdoors.
Rachel Oliver, MD

Dr. Oliver joined John Muir Health and the residency program as a Core Faculty physician in 2021. She is a California native and grew up in San Diego. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in French from Wellesley College in Massachusetts and spent two years working in cancer genomics before California beckoned her back home for medical school. She earned her medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine in 2018. She is an alumna of the John Muir Health Family Medicine Residency Program, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year and helped to develop its resident leadership track. Her passions include women’s and vulnerable populations’ health, physician leadership, and medical education. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, reading, and gardening, in no particular order.
Sway Wu, MD

Dr. Wu is a family medicine physician with fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Care. She grew up in Illinois, completing her undergraduate and medical school curriculum in the Midwest before moving to California to attend family medicine residency at John Muir Health. After completing her residency, she spent a year in Los Angeles for her fellowship at UCLA. She is passionate about care for all and particularly enjoys providing palliative and supportive care for her patients. She enjoys promoting well-being within the residency program and managing the scholarly activity for residents. In her free time, she is often spending time with her two dogs and husband - hiking, eating, and exploring California.

Pilar Corcoran-Lozano, Psy

Dr. Corcoran-Lozano (She/Her) is a Licensed Psychologist and earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology through John F Kennedy University. She completed her internship at UC Davis Health in the Department of Bariatric Surgery and her postdoctoral fellowship here at our John Muir Family Medicine Residency Program. She supervises the Integrated Behavioral Health Team at the Residency Program and serves as Assistant Professor at National University. Dr. Corcoran-Lozano is particularly passionate about teaching the next generation of medical and mental health providers in a family medicine setting. Through a collaborative, curious, and social justice lens, she is dedicated to teaching, assessing, and treating the whole complexity of humanness. Her professional interests include health equity, gender affirming care, integration of physical health and wellbeing, and making psychological assessment accessible.

Gayatri Boddupalli Madduri, MD, MAT

Family Medicine Residency Program
Dr. Madduri has been a pediatric hospitalist with John Muir Health since 2018 and currently serves as the inpatient pediatrics and newborn nursery co-director. Her clinical appointment is through Stanford University. Dr. Madduri was born in India and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. After completing her Bachelor of Science in physiology and neuroscience at UCSD, she taught high school biology through Teach For America in Baltimore and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins. She completed medical school at Boston University and pediatrics residency at UCSF where she also served as chief resident from 2017-2018. She is a part of the 2020 Advancing Pediatric Educator Excellence (APEX) cohort, a nationally recognized program to train physicians in best practices for pediatric medical education.
Tristan C. Nichols, DO, FAAP

Dr. Nichols began working as a pediatric hospitalist at John Muir Health in 2017 and currently serves as one of the co-directors of the inpatient pediatric and newborn nursery rotations. He has been an East Bay native for the last fifteen years— after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from UC Berkeley, he completed his osteopathic medical education at Touro University California in Vallejo. He then began pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Oakland (now UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital) and served an additional year as chief resident from 2016-2017 prior to beginning his career as a pediatric hospitalist at John Muir Health.
Anisha Patel-Dunn, MD
Dr. Anisha Patel-Dunn has over 20 years of experience as a practicing outpatient psychiatrist with a special interest in Women’s Mental Health. She co-founded Pacific Coast Psychiatric Associates in 2006 and joined LifeStance Health in 2019, becoming their first Chief Medical Officer. LifeStance Health focuses on outpatient mental health treatment for children, adolescents, adults & geriatrics in 33 states with over 7, 000 clinicians (psychiatrists, psychiatric NP’s, psychologist & masters level therapists. In her role at LifeStance, she has been responsible for overseeing all clinical services delivered ensuring that care quality meets and exceeds professional standards. She is stepping down from that position to spend more time with her 2 young teenage daughters. Dr. Patel-Dunn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University and received her medical degree from The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific at Western University of Health Sciences. She completed her adult psychiatry residency training at California Pacific Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist.She is dedicated to teaching, mentoring and helping those who struggle with mental illness. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, running and scuba diving.
